CAIRN TERRIERS
This was very good entry. Thank you all for letting me see your lovely dogs. Some nice ones went without cards but there
are only so many places in each class.
MINOR PUPPY DOG (11-4abs)
1. Goldfinch’s Kanawa Itsmyturnnow.
Very smart, happy red brindle.
Lovely head, good front with good shoulders. Lovely thick coat. A very
confident young man..
2. Kinton’s Woodthorpe The
Gambling Man. Another nice red with a
great deal of confidence. Well made
with good coat. Tail well set on. Moved with purpose.
3. Tutching’s Crowneast
Limestone Lad.
PUPPY DOG. (3-1abs)
1. Peer’s Tweedisle
Timetraveller. Unplaced in last class but nevertheless a promising lad. His outline was good and he moved well.
2.McGarry’s Seveek Sonny Boy
Oliver. Unfortunately he was uncooperative on the table so I was unable to
assess him properly. His movement was
purposeful. Should improve with time
and training.
JUNIOR DOG. (3-1abs)
1.Parker-Tucker’s Uniquecottage
Rusty Leaf. A really lovely light red boy.
His shoulder placement and outline were good. Moved well. Coat was a
correct double coat. One to watch.
2.Thompson’s Castleline Prince
Harry. Smaller than the winner but a
lot to like about him. Good
conformation giving good movement.
POST GRADUATE DOG (9-1abs)
1.Birch’s Kinkim Wattluq. A
worthy winner from a good class. Grey
brindle with a pleasing outline.
Correct front and strong hindquarters giving good movement. Good double coat.
2.Roberts’ Cannwood Augurey.
Lovely strong looking dog with correct cream coat and dark points. Moved with drive from strong hindquarters.
3.Towers’ Deneland Just
William.
LIMIT DOG.(7)
1.Braybrook’s Loaded Dice. An
upstanding grey brindle winning a strong class. His shoulders and outline were spot on. Moved with drive and looked as if he could go all day.
2.Ward’s Vanajam Halloween.
Pleasing light red brindle with everything in the right place. Splitting hairs between these two boys.
3. Short’s Glenchess Black
Tie.

1.Parker-Tucker’s
Uniquecottage Tidy shoes. Superb grey
brindle leading a class which was a real treat to judge. He was strong looking with flowing lines.
Neck and shoulders good, hindquarters strong.
Coat was correct double.
Everything as it should be leading to good movement. Dog CC and BOB.
2.Wall’s Ch. Shearwater Cae de
Sonhas. Another superb grey brindle
dog. Everything about him was
correct. So hard to choose between these
two dogs. RCC
3.Birch’s Kinkim Kenza Ruffn
Too.

1.Dolan’s Glenrood Magic
Solitaire. Lovely little girl winning a
very strong class of promising babies.
Grey brindle with good double coat.
Good outline and tail set. One
to watch,. BP
2.Shopland’s Cherrycrack Chasing
Aimee. Another promising puppy. red
brindle with good outline. Nice head,
good shoulders. Good mover. Full of promise.
3.Wall’s Shearwater
Sheherazade,
PUPPY BITCH (6-1abs)
1.Goud’s Beanoak Drunken
Landlady. Lovely red with dark
points. Correct coat. Good outline and tail set. Moved with confidence.
2.Kippen’s Tarcret Lucky Star
of Chezaku. Promising light red
brindle. Correct conformation giving a
nice outline. Moved well. Litter sister to third.
3. Carter’s Tarcret Silver
Star.
JUNIOR BITCH (7)
1.Firth & Jones’ Cairngold
Coral. Lovely red bitch. Well made with pleasing outline. Good length of neck. Moved with drive to win another strong
class.
2.Middlehurst’s Starveren
Chance to Dream. Silver brindle, bigger than the winner but well
proportioned. Good angulation giving
good movement.
3.Smee’s Oudenarde Belle
Amour.
POST GRADUATE BITCH (11-1abs)
1.White’s Kervaig Skye
Sapphire. Lovely upstanding grey. Good shoulder placement and length of
neck. Pleasure to look at and a strong
mover. One I liked a lot.
2.Ward’s Trick A Treat.
Smaller than 1 but a nice red brindle who moved well. Lovely neck and shoulders. Outline pleasing.
3. Osborn’s Tweslam Charlie’s
Angel.
LIMIT BITCH (8)
1.Firth & Jones’ Cairngold
Charcoal. Lovely dark grey brindle winning a strong class on showmanship and
correct conformation. Good length of neck into correct shoulders and good
topline. Medium all over. Everything
just flowed together. CC.
2.Braybrook’s Cloverbrook Here
to Stay. Another lovely grey brindle
who knew how to move. Correct
angulation and construction. Pleasing
head. Close up to 1. RCC
3.Short’s Glenchess Gold
Myrtle.
OPEN BITCH. (7)

red with dark points. Lovely expression. Firm topline from good shoulders. Tail set good. Movement was purposeful.
2.Dolan’s Ch Rossarden
Glenmoira. A dark red brindle with
lovely topline and flowing movement.
Shoulders and neck excellent. A
very alert bitch. Close decision.
3.Goldfinch’s Kanawa Listen
Again.
